...Thank you for your interest in wedding photography by Jon's Darkroom. Below is a list of the fine wedding packages we offer. All our packages include extensive digital enhancement of your wedding portraits. These enhancements add another level to our photography by removing skin blemishes and annoying distractions from the background. Dozens of other controls allow us to create the perfect image that you deserve in your album.
...Our packages are all based on time, rather than a specific number of photographs taken. We have no limit as to the number of photos we take. Having our own professional processing lab on premises gives us the advantage of being able to shoot without concerning ourselves with paying an independant lab to process our film, so we can do our best to capture all the shots you want, and the ones we know we need to get. We do still capture our weddings on film which produces far better quality than digital cameras are capable of. We then scan our negatives into digital files which hold all the information of the original negative. This process gives us the best of both worlds!

Another big advantage of operating our own profesional lab is that quality control is in OUR hands, not those of some out of state lab that rushes through their work. We make sure your photos look just right before we give them to you.

You receive a photo of every shot taken at your wedding. These are not proofs, but final, color-corrected pictures. Most studios give you a proof album to look through, then you have to select a handful of poses for your album. We feel that while you may not want to put some of the more candid photos in an album, these are pictures you will cherish years from now, and you should have them to look through, instead of having them sit in a photographer's storage box.

...You can expect to receive your photos within two weeks from your wedding date. Usually they are ready for you to pick up in a week, which is when many couples are returning from their honeymoon! Many of the local studios can take months to get you your wedding photos, after sending back redos to their lab several times.

Our photographers use professional equipment, and do a routine equipment check the night before your wedding day to confirm that everything is in perfect working order. They also carry backup equipment as extra insurance. Our staff is professional, easy to work with, and ready to accomodate your needs.

...Samples photographs are available for your viewing by clicking the photo link below, or stop by our store and browse through our sample album. Appointments are recommended, but not necessary.

...Our hours are 9:00am to 5:30pm M-F and 9:00am to 7:00pm on Wednesdays.
